Firekeepers have 6 hour shifts which go round the clock until the completion of the dance.
This is an area we greatly need your help.
To volunteer for firekeeping, please contact Karen Peregoy with the day(s) and shift(s)
you are willing to take and you will be added to the schedule. This is a sacred fire, so please hold your
commitment or let Karen know if you cannot, so we can make the necessary adjustments.

| As our community of dancers grows, it becomes more difficult for one person to support the 3 or 4 sweat lodges for the dancers (and supporters) at the beginning and end of each dance day. As a result, we are asking for 2 or 3 extra firekeepers to assist between 4-6 AM and 4-6 PM (or whenever the dance ends each day) beginning on Thursday (6/9) to help with the lodges. |
